JUSTU Machinery successfully completed the installation and delivery of a fully automatic double-layer hanging-basket stacker and honeycomb board production line for a packaging company in the Alsace region of France. The project is equipped with the NCDM-DL2-2200 hanging-basket stacker with a line speed of 300m/min, featuring independent upper and lower stacking layers, Italian PHASE servo motors, and Schneider control systems. It is also paired with a 1800mm-wide honeycomb board production line capable of producing honeycomb boards with thicknesses from 10mm to 80mm, with a finished product rate of over 98%. JUSTU dispatched a team of 3 engineers for a 45-day on-site assignment, during which they overcame challenges such as limited factory ceiling height and differences in local raw paper properties, successfully completing equipment installation, electrical commissioning, and operator training, and passing the 72-hour continuous operation acceptance test.
The project has delivered remarkable results since commissioning: the average corrugated line speed increased from 120m/min to 200m/min, boosting production capacity by 67%; staffing at the stacking section was reduced by 75%, saving approximately €38,000 in labor costs annually; in-house honeycomb board production costs are 41% lower than outsourced procurement, helping the customer successfully expand into the wine industry cushion packaging business. The overall payback period is approximately 18 months.
