Arbor Day On March 12th, 2026

Mar 12, 2026 Leave a message

Arbor Day is a festival established to advocate afforestation and ecological environment protection. The modern Arbor Day originated in Nebraska, USA, in 1872, initiated by agronomist Sterling Morton to improve the land environment and resist wind and sand. China officially designated March 12 as Arbor Day in 1979, both to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat-sen and to align with the best season for spring afforestation. The significance of Arbor Day lies in protecting forests, conserving water sources, purifying air, and maintaining biodiversity. It can also absorb carbon dioxide and alleviate the greenhouse effect, which is especially valuable amid global warming and climate anomalies. As part of the corrugated board industry, we are closely connected to forest resources and green packaging. We should actively respond to the call for low-carbon environmental protection: use legal, compliant and renewable raw materials, improve waste paper recycling and reuse rates, optimize production processes to save energy and reduce emissions, and promote lightweight, degradable and recyclable green packaging. We will reduce carbon emissions with practical actions, support ecological protection and sustainable development, and jointly protect the green planet.
